Hadrians Wall -2023

πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ Our second attempt to complete the walk πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

Hadrian’s Wall, set in the Northumberland countryside has been a big part of my hiking life.

I studied the The Romans as a child in the 1970’s, I first walked it in 2016 with a group of 6 friends from West to East.

Wallsend 2016

I am now planning to walk it again, in May 2023 with 3 other friends.

Starting at Wallsend-On-Tyne, North Tyneside, United Kingdom in the East and walking the wall over five days to Bowness On Solway

The obvious difference is the 7 year gap leads us all with a different outlook on life, health and fitness is on a different page. Yet the keenness to enjoy and complete the walk is still strong.

We leave on Tuesday 30th May 2023. The next few posts will form part of the planning. We all wish to inspire others to follow us in the love for adventure and challenges.
