On Saturday 16th September I will be taking part in the Great Boat Race down the Thames.

There are over 600 boats, 1000 people and all for fun. Possible one of the biggest events on the Thames.
I am lucky to be sat in a boat called Rapperee and positioned at the back.
If you are in London please shout at the boats as they go by. The race takes about 2 and half hours, not one stops for a beer and the biggest fear, is hitting another boat and sinking!
Ahead of the trip, I must thank Ilfracombe Pilot Gig Club members for looking out for me in the evenings and in the campsite.
Also thanks to my family are looking after Teal.
Ollie, may try to get over to the party tomorrow at Richmond.
