The Cumbria Way
This adventure is with 5 other people, we all have our own ideas on the walk. Some with plans to walk fast and furious and others to take time to heal as we they go along.
Mine, is to simple walk for five days, taking time to enjoy it along the way. Helping those that wish for help and learning g from others along the way.
My plan starts with the commute – a one hour drive, to Tiverton Parkway station and then three trains, and another one hour trip on a bus to the Train Station in Carlisle.
This time I intend to stop to eat a meal and look around this city. A city I have passed through a couple of times undergoing the walk along Hadrians Wall and my Epic adventure with my children.

Throughout the adventure, I will add a few videos, and photos as we wonder.
My aim is to continue to raise awareness that people with severe eyesight loss can still enjoy walking. The big plan is to take qualifications in navigation, raise funds to set up a training course and attract people to volunteer to help set the learning experience as a positive one for the future.

The picture below has been taken from the Lake District – pictures and memories it is of a valley, with the sun setting in the middle, between two valleys. The valley landscape is covered with blue bells.
Sadly, in the UK the blue bells bloom throughout the spring. On the plus, we are walking at the time the trees start to blossom and the weather is at it kindest.
