This weekend, while Mrs I’ perfected the Christmas tree, I picked up my paintbrush. White paint on white walls, a task that takes me far longer now than it once did. What used to be a room in an afternoon is now skirting boards in a day.
With headphones in, I pressed play on The Diary of a CEO episode with Kevin Hart.

His words hit home
• “There’s no success without failure.” apple.com
• “The importance of not quitting.” apple.com
Two reminders that echo through my own journey and through the work I do with blind and partially sighted people seeking employment and outdoor opportunities. Map in one hand, compass in the other, dignity always at the centre.
On 3rd December 2025, will be the “International Day of Persons with Disabilities”
We celebrate resilience, visibility, and inclusion. It’s a day to remind leaders that inclusion isn’t a tick‑box, it’s a growth strategy.

At Moor, Mountain, Grow, I explain why lived experience matters and how storytelling builds bridges. Two elements I highlight on my site:
• Accessible coaching pathways designed for blind and partially sighted people to thrive.
• Community conversations — an open invitation to contact me directly for a chat, because inclusion starts with dialogue.
If you’ve started something, finish it. If you’ve committed to inclusion, embed it.
